Community Connection Many patients know that Dr. Halabo helped found the Pacific Beach Homeless Dental Clinic in conjunction with UCSD, and that he donated much of the original equipment to get it on its feet. He also worked many tireless hours offering dental care to the homeless. Dr. Halabo is now pleased to let you know that the UCSD Homeless Clinic has won the prestigious ADA Golden Apple award, and asks you to join him in congratulating the many doctors and students that helped achieve this award. Dr. Halabo continues his involvement as an adjunct participant in the program, helping care for those that are in most need. Fewer Visits, Better HealthIt seems counter-intuitive that your dental office would suggest “fewer visits”! The truth is we know that dentistry is not high on your to-do list. Our goal for all of our patients is to ensure long-lasting, natural looking restorations that provide a great result. We’ve mastered that. The only way to improve this service is to do it in less time. The extraordinary CEREC system allows us to do just that. Traditionally, a crown, inlay or onlay restoration required 2 visits, about 3 weeks apart. With CEREC technology, we are able to create an all ceramic, natural-looking restoration in our office that can be bonded into place in one visit! No return visit required. This also eliminates the need for temporaries, impressions and second-visit anesthesia. For these reasons, we encourage you to complete your dental needs in fewer visits, for better health. Thank You!As always, we are very appreciative of your new patient referrals and want to take this opportunity to thank you. Currently, we have a new patient offer for you to extend to any friends or family that may be interested in coming to see us. Our new patient's welcome appointment will include a free comprehensive exam, consultation and necessary digital x-rays. As a thank you for your referral, you will receive a $50 credit to your account and our sincerest gratitude for trusting us with the people you care about.
