I had a extraction, implant, and crown lengthening done with Dr. Hunt. They treat you like a person rather than income. He called the next day to check on me after all three procedures. I will be using Dr. Hunt as long as I have teeth and gums. I recommend his services to everyone. He and his staff are very honest and kind. They gave me the best dental service I have ever had.

As a young adult, it is difficult to keep up with routine monthly appointments. The staff at Torrey Hills Periodontal group did an awesome job at coordinating all of my appointments with their office, as well as my general dentist. The office staff genuinely cares about your overall dental health, and takes that extra step to accomodate you. The front office checked into my dental insurance before I arrived which allowed them to stay a few steps ahead of the game. The back office staff members were warm, gentle and caring. Dr. Hunt and his office staff made my implant placement a breeze! The entire procedure took approximately 45 minutes total! The long acting anesthetic that was used kept me comfortable for the rest of the day, and Motrin took care of any discomfort after the anesthetic "wore off". Overall, the aesthetics of the office, staff, and treatment was superb!

Dr. Hunt performed a crown lengthening for me on a hard-to-reach tooth (upper right molar) and it all went smoothly, in and out in an hour or so. He was very gentle and is really good at numbing you up with minimal discomfort. He was also very discreet in handling surgical tools so even a curious but anxious patient like myself could not be frightened by what the procedure entailed. He made sure that I was relaxed and not nervous. I felt comfortable that I could let him and the dental assistant know if I needed a break at any time.

The facilities are top notch - with all the latest technology and very comfy chairs, and in very pleasant decor that beats all other dental offices I've seen. The office is near a Vons (really nice one too), and Dr. Hunt called in a prescription for me so that I could pick it up on my way out. The office manager was also very considerate and followed up with my insurance company to make sure that the procedure would be authorized.
