My family has been using Dr.Charlton's dental services since 2003. I cannot say enough about his attitude and skills! He also uses very impressive latest hi-tech equipment.

He will work tirelesly until the result is to your complete satisfaction and I am very impressed by such attitude. His staff is top notch too!

I didn't think dentists of such caliber even participated in in-network groups with insurance companies, but every time our insurance changed Dr.Charlton was still in-network in the new insurance. Overall very satisfied with Dr.Charlton and his staff!

Dan is an Excellent Dentist who has great attention to detail as well as a superior knowledge base on the latest dental procedures. His staff is warm friendly and professional, and I really appreciate not getting the run around as we do with most doctors ofices regarding basic insurance billing.

Dan really seeems like a great guy who takes alot of pride in his work and keeping his patients healthy and happy.

Not to mention I got to watch an early episode of "The Soprano's" during a routine dental cleaning thanks to his state of the art "Video Glasses".

I highly recommend Dr. Dan Charleton.!!

Dr. Charlton has been our family (me, wife, two kids) for years. Everyone in the office is courteous and professional. The doctor is great. Always informs you what is happening during a procedure, see us on time, generally nice guy. I couldn't recommend him any higher.

The hygienist are great as well (at least the three I've had). Waiting room has email available. Came in handy one time. You can also watch movies during long procedures with movie goggles.

About Hygienist: Pam! Awesome. Has been cleaning my teeth for years. So nice to see her every six months.

From the front desk to the treatments from Dr. Charlton and the cleaning spa............everyone is first rate and makes you feel like these visits are no big deal. They are not stressful at all. Dr. Charlton is in the middle of solving all of my dental issues and each procedure is done the way it should have been done over the years by other dentists and wasnt! It is comforting to know that the work in your mouth is done right and the doctor takes pride in his work. You can tell the staff has been very carefully picked and is very fast and friendly. For anyone the least bit nervous, this is the dentist to come too. I tell all my family, friends and clients to go to Dr. Charlton and then I am the hero! All services are offered so no need to go anywhere else. Try him out and then write your own review. You will be very glad you did! L Gregory

This is the by far the best dentist I have ever been to. I recommend it to everyone I know. Such a professional and friendly staff. They really take their time to clean your teeth and my fillings were painless. Great facility too. 5 big stars!

Dr. Charlton inserted an implant tooth for me, and I've had regular checkups and cleanings from his group for about two years since then. The procedure went very smoothly, and remarkably painlessly (I'm a dentist-phobe), in fact, I didn't even notice when the old tooth was removed! Charlton appears very deft and careful, not overconfident, and professional without being obnoxious or overbearing. Several times he would fine-tune some placing and wasn't afraid of looking like he'd made an error, like many medical professionals. He multi-tasks multiple operations at a time, but seemed to always be there for the important bits. I've also had deep cleaning and regular cleanings with several members of his practice, and they have been remarkably friendly and welcoming. I'm a picky reviewer, but I really cannot find anything to fault about their service. I rank cost and facilities as average simply because I don't know how to evaluate them.

Dr. Charlton and his staff have been nothing but professional, caring and very knowledgeable. I drive from Los Angeles to get all my dental work done by Dr. Charlton due to his expertise and amazing work. The craftsmanship of his work speaks volumes and I have not had one negative experience at all. I like the fact that his office utilizes the best in dental technology! It makes things much easier for someone like me who travels and prefers a pain-free visit. I highly recommend Dr. Charlton for anyone seeking QUALITY work :)

I've had two very bad experiences before at the dentist...Dr. Charlton is the best. Not only has my dental work been excellent but he and his staff always treat me in such a wonderfully professional yet warm and caring manner. They always make me feel that they are sensitive to my apprehensions and they have these movie visors with a sizeable collection of sitcoms and movies that you can watch while getting your teeth worked on. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend them!

Dr. Charlton and his staff were awesome! The receptionists and dental hygienist's were a pleasure and they did a fantastic job! The teeth cleaning I received was probably the best and fastest I have ever had, furthmore I got to watch Seinfeld! Great group, I recommend them to all my friends and family.

Dr. Charlton is a first rate dentist. He is excellent at addressing pain and sensitivity issues. He is also very skilled at making crowns and fillings feel as if they aren't even there. His staff is very courteous and professional.

Dr. Charlton has restored my faith in San Diego dentists again. After having very bad experiences with two other dentists in the San Diego area, I was desperate for a change. Dr. Charlton was recommended to me by a friend and I am so grateful for the recommendation! His rates may be a bit more expensive than other area dentists, but I don't regret spending a penny of it because his staff is friendly and thorough, the customer service is outstanding, and Dr. Charlton himself talks to you like a person that he really cares about. Even the drive from my home in Oceanside to Del Mar to visit him is done with a smile because I know that there is no other place in San Diego to receive such great service.

I came to him after a bad exp with another dentist. EXCELLENT! He was VERY knowledgable and attentive, the staff were adept at putting me at ease about getting fillings, top of the line facilities, EXCELLENT accounting/insurance handling and offered small luxuries like internet access, dvd goggles and coffee that made everything FAR more pleasant. I have more cavitites to get filled this month and rather than being a nervous wreck, I'm excited to get them done, finally!
