Case Description
I went for a checkup and was quoted over $8000 for restorative work, mostly on teeth that already have had root canals and crowns. I have three children still at home that will soon need braces. I want to opt for a full upper denture plate instead but am having a hard time finding a dentist willing to go this route with me. Help?

Are You This Patient?
When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

I understand your frustration and hope that i can shed some light on this topic. I always feel that the patient has the last say in their treatment as long as they are completely informed of all their options and alternatives. With this in mind we would be happy to offer you a free consultation to discuss options and alternatives with you having the final word on how to proceed with treatment. if you would like to call us our number is 619-427-0810 and Elma would be happy to schedule you! I hope this helps, take care and good luck no matter how you choose to proceed.

I would be happy to meet with you to discuss your case. My suggestion is to request copies of your current dental x-rays from your previous dentist so that you don''''t have to retake them.Dr. Charlton has been in practice for over 20 yrs. and has a lot of experience in prosthetics.
