Case Description
Hello everyone. I have a complex case where I need crown lengthing, braces across my front upper 8 teeth for 4 months, and finally bonding and veeners to complete the process. I feel I am in good hands but no one is giving me estimates on the cost. I feel like I could be stuck with a bill or unable to pay in the middle of the process. The problem is that my whole situation is purely cosmetic. I have all 32 teeth, no cavities, no fillings, etc....I just waited until I was 22 to start the process. Will my insurance even think to cover any of my surgery expenses due to it not being a non-cosmetic reason?

When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
  • Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
  • Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description, special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
  • Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
  • Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors. Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Cost Estimate: $1000
Can you please e-mail me your insurance information? Ie: company, group #, id # and your d.o.b.

Veneers $1000 per tooth

Invisalign $3000-$5200

Crown Lengthening.$400-$800 per tooth

We use a laser for the crown lengthening surgery, which eliminates any cutting or sutures. You can visit our website: www.delmarviewdental.com

My guess is it probably won't cover much. You may have orthodontic coverage though.

Thank You,
